Guardianship
Feeling Safe is critical to our wellbeing
We experience a sense of safety when we are in our full power and firmly rooted in our physical bodies. Our body is the safest place to be. We have access to all our senses including our intuition when we are grounded both physically and emotionally in our human form. Our sensory systems allow us to gather a more complete picture and information beyond that of our logical mind and cognitive expectations.
Another way we can increase our power-fullness, intuition, and connections is to heal our own wounds and traumas. Untended wounds (physical or emotional) keep us stunted and stuck. The unhealed parts live in the past and often cause us to react disproportionally or myopically to the present circumstances. Taking time to find appropriate support to engage in purposeful self-development will allow us to grow in relationship to self and others.
Creating and deepening a relationship with ourselves, ecosystem, and belief systems provides us an opportunity to enter a more interdependent relationship with our systems of support. We are all in this together.

Resources and Practices
Self
Grounding: Feet in dirt, grass, or water will help draw your energy down through your whole body. This is an excellent way to prevent or soothe a migraine when your energy has been too concentrated in your head. Being outside in nature is also deeply nurturing and grounding.
Essential Oils: Using essential oils on your body like Frankincense is protective and a barrier to support your system. Using it on or near body portals is one way to engage this practice (top of head, near ears, front and back of throat, belly button, pulse points, heart).
Prayers and Meditations Practices: Begin your guardianship from the inside out with protection, power-fullness, guardianship practices. Here are a few, and you might develop or know of others that serve this purpose.
Yes, No, Maybe Practice: Fine tune and create relationship with your inner compass so you can call on your intuitive nature to guide you. This practice will help you trust it.
“I request and open to all of the love, compassion, mercy, and comfort available to me from the Infinite Source in every second of every day.”
Home
White Sage and/or Copal
Clear your home in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. You will want to circle the perimeter of the room while reciting this or a similar prayer:
“I call on Archangel Michael to please help me clear and cleanse this space. With this white sage and the assistance of ArchAngel Michael, please clean and clear this space. Please remove all energies and entities that no longer serve the highest good. AA Michael, please take these energies back to where they came from transmuting and transforming them so that no harm comes to any being. And, so it is.”
Music/Singing/Sound
Playing music, singing, using sound (drums/bells) can clear a space or room of negative or low vibrational energy. Singing is clearing for your physical system as well.
Stones/Crystals
Black tourmaline and clear quartz (amplifies) outside on the four corners of your home.
Selenite in the windows to create a circuit for clearing and purifying the energy of your home.
Four Directions: Know your orientation to the north, south, east and west.
Ecosystem/Eco-field
Develop relationships with the minerals, plants, and animal beings that live in the ecosystem of your home. Plants that hold protective and guardianship power include rosemary, sage, lavender, juniper (cedar) trees, oak trees. You might look up some of the local indigenous rock, plants, trees, birds, and animals you notice to understand their spiritual messages and meanings. You can create a relationships and make particular requests in exchange for an offering (prayer, food, sending light). Reciprocal relationship in mutuality is sustainable.
