The Action Program for Moving Beyond Death, Divorce, and Other Losses
Have you recently lost a loved one or ended a relationship?
Do you want to let go of the pain & guilt from the past?
Do you want to engage in current relationships differently?
After a loss, we often find that others do not know what to say, say nothing, or say unhelpful things. Most of us have not been given helpful tools & information about grief to know how to deal with loss.
Myths about grief:
- Time heals all wounds
- Replace the loss
- Grieve alone
- Be strong for others
- Bury your feelings
The Truth about grief: Your feelings are normal and natural. The problem is that we have been socialized to believe that these feelings are abnormal and unnatural. Regardless of the type of loss, it is possible to let go of the pain.
Whether your loss is from:
- Divorce or end of a relationship
- Loss of a career
- Loss of trust
- Loss of faith
- Loss of safety
- Loss of health
There are more than 40 types of loss a person can experience in a lifetime. This Questionnaire may be helpful in identifying some losses in your own life.
Regardless of how recent or long ago your loss or losses occurred, it is possible to let go of the pain. People may have even said that you have to let go and move on in your life, but they don’t tell you what you need to do to accomplish that. The Grief Recovery Method® makes that possible, and provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens.
This Grief Recovery Method workshop will offer a safe, confidential environment where you can:
- increase your awareness & examine old beliefs about dealing with loss,
- find acceptance & consider the various losses that have affected your life, and
- take actions that will lead you to complete unresolved emotions that may still be causing you pain.
We WILL NOT tell you, “We know how you feel,” because we don’t. Neither does anyone else.
We will provide you with a set of tools to help you increase awareness, recover from loss, and lead you toward a happier life. The Grief Recovery process is an action-based program that involves the reading and writing assignments outlined in The Grief Recovery Handbook – 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition.
NewBloomz Grief Recovery offers emotional support not just intellectual explanations. Our program provides education, but more importantly it provides an opportunity to address your broken heart.
Each Grief Recovery Group workshop is facilitated by a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.
