The Truth about grief: Your feelings are normal and natural. The problem is that we have been socialized to believe that these feelings are abnormal and unnatural. Regardless of the type of loss, it is possible to let go of the pain.

There are more than 40 types of loss a person can experience in a lifetime. This Questionnaire may be helpful in identifying some losses in your own life.

Regardless of how recent or long ago your loss or losses occurred, it is possible to let go of the pain. People may have even said that you have to let go and move on in your life, but they don’t tell you what you need to do to accomplish that. The Grief Recovery Method® makes that possible, and provides partnerships and guidance to ensure that it happens. 

What is the Grief Recovery Method and how does it work?
This Grief Recovery Method workshop will offer a safe, confidential environment where you can:

  • Increase your awareness & examine old beliefs about dealing with loss,
  • Find acceptance & consider the various losses that have affected your life,
  • Take actions that will lead you to complete unresolved emotions that are still causing pain.
  • This is not a drop in group. It is an 8-week group format that is supportive of your unique loss.

We WILL NOT tell you, “We know how you feel,” because we don’t. Neither does anyone else.

We will provide you with a set of tools to help you increase awareness, recover from loss, and lead you toward a happier life. The Grief Recovery process is an action-based program that involves the reading and writing assignments outlined in The Grief Recovery Handbook – 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition.
